The Coaching Leader Programme

Coaching for Leaders has been developed for senior managers who are responsible for the performance and growth of their people and will enable you to learn a model of management which incorporates sound practices of coaching.

The design of the programme is 70% experiential and 30% input thus helping leaders to build robust core coaching skills.

The three module intensive learning experience is structured so:

  • It can be delivered in-house for clients
  • It can be run with up to 12 participants
  • That the design includes input, coaching practice sessions, one-one feedback and coaching supervision, plus personal tutorials
  • It can be completed in four months

The modular design of the programme allows for input, practice, feedback and the ability to experience coaching with clients. It also enables the delegates to practice skills between sessions with real clients and then to get feedback on the next module or as part of their one on one tutorial. Change in behaviour can only happen over a period of time and by using a modular approach this allows the learning to be internalised by the delegate, with practice and feedback from experienced Master Coaches/Facilitators and peers.

The overall process of the design builds towards tracking their own coaching improvement and eventually writing and presenting their own framework and model for coaching - delegates will work with their own learning and creation of a model.

Throughout the programme delegates will continuously work with the:

  • Context for coaching (organisational culture and systems)
  • Process (different ways of working as a coach)
  • Core competencies (skills)
